Residents are Celebrating Living at The Ridge in Courtenay BC
Residents at The Ridge recently celebrated at their 3rd annual neighbourhood party. Nearly 200 residents, family and friends enjoyed the afternoon and evening festivities. This yearly event is a highlight in this growing Courtenay neighbourhood. Residents of all ages enjoy gathering together to see old friends and meet new neighbours.
The children enjoyed an inflatable bounce house, face painting and games in the park. Volleyball, frisbee and croquet kept all ages active. And the highlight of the event was the live band - the crowd was up and dancing to live music.
A barbeque and buffet kept everyone fed and smiling.
Living at The Ridge is truly a unique experience. Neighbours become friends and welcome all new residents to the area.
One couple, Brianna and Jeremy recently shared how much their family enjoys living at The Ridge.
“The first time we visited The Ridge we fell in love with it, because of the layout of the neighbourhood, the walking trails for our dog, and the amazing mountain and ocean views. Phase IV Coming to RiversEdge in Courtenay
Southwind Development Corporation is moving ahead with Phase IV of the The Ridge at RiversEdge, a pre-planned residential development. They have made an application for preliminary layout approval to build a 20-lot subdivision on this 5.24 acre site in West Courtenay.
Single family homes will be built on these oversize lots starting in the Spring of 2017. New trails will be built within the subdivision to connect with existing trails and the Ruth Masters Park, along the Puntledge River.
Some site preparation has been completed and lot servicing will commence in early 2017.
