Celebrate the Season at The Ridge

The community you choose to call home is so important, and The Ridge once again is showing why it is becoming such a popular neighbourhood in Courtenay. A friendly competition is underway between neighbours for their third annual holiday lighting contest. Many residents are participating in creating a festive atmosphere for the entire community to enjoy. The holiday season is the time when the neighbours come together to lift the spirits of everyone who visit the area. 

The community's first Christmas decoration contest was held in 2019, when a few of the residents joined together to acknowledge the homeowners who went above and beyond to decorate their homes and yards for the holdiay season. The residents established criteria, made the top choices and Buckstone Developments awarded prizes to the homeowners. 

This year the friendly-judging will take place mid-December. The winners and honourable mentions will be posted on The Ridge Facebook page - stay tuned!

In the meantime, take the time to drive or stroll through The Ridge neighbourhood. The results are truly beautiful as most of the homes are lit up with both traditional and creative lighting displays. People of all ages will be dazzled by the festive displays. Take a breath and enjoy these special moments.
