Activities Abound in Ladysmith To Kick off Summer

Posted: May 29, 2017

With summer just around the corner, the Vancouver Island community of Ladysmith is stepping into high gear. Outdoor activities abound for next several months, with residents getting out to enjoy area beaches, forests, boating, sports and more. And the community is gearing up to celebrate.

Downtown Ladysmith celebrates Kids Pirate Day on June 3 and a world record attempt for street hockey on June 4. June 3 is also National Health and Fitness Day, and Ladysmith will celebrate at Transfer Beach, with family friendly fitness activities. On June 21, the Longest Day of Play is coming to town, with a fun-for-all block party.

From your new home at The Gales in Ladysmith, you'll be close to all of the action. Or you can choose to soak in the sunshine from your ocean view decks. With all of your landscaping maintenance taken care of, your weekends are free to head out and enjoy all that the community and the rest of Vancouver Island have to offer.
