Here are a few tips for storing your equipment during the winter months. This will ensure that your equipment, when required again, will be ready for action right away.
1.To get the equipment ready for winter, clean it first. The air filter, the cylinder fins, the spark plug and the dismantled cutting tool should be checked and cleaned (also see Owner's Manual). Metal
parts should be just slightly lubricated with oil.
2.The fuel tank should be emptied. Run the carburetor until dry (Warning: Do not operate the throttle, run equipment in idle until the engine stops).
For winter storage, a dry and, if possible, dust-free and frost-free place would be ideal. You can save space if you hang the equipment. And remember: the fuel mix deteriorates; to avoid malfunction, it
should not be kept over a long period of time.

I toured the site of the new Qualicum College Heights project this week and I was very impressed with the new development. It will feature luxury condominiums on a unique Vancouver Island property located in Qualicum Beach and just minutes away from the oceanside community of Parksville. The owners of the historical site have taken special care to save the Tudor charm of the former boys school, known as Qualicum College, which was built in 1935. The site is nestled in a park-like setting just steps away from the beach and offers unobstructed ocean views of Georgia Strait. This development also features trails with a direct pathway to the ocean for beach combing and swimming and will incorporate gardens with Zen water features into the surrounding landscaping.
